I was compelled to go down to Sandy Hook today, one more time to see how things have changed in a week. This time not covering it as a news event.
Here are a few things that stood out.
Silence. Compassion. Sorrow. Snow flakes falling as people placed their memorials and prayed. No media. Prayers and or thoughts written in at least 10 languages. People in their cars stopping for pedestrians. Noticing that everyone is there for the same thing. Finally, pride in their community.
Here are a few images that I took. No words. The pictures say enough. Everyone has been through enough.
