Before tonight my record for viewing the cresent moon was 48+ hours old. Tonight I broke that record after encountering multiple cloud banks that left me to shoot through sucker holes.
I managed to get this image of the cresent moon as it was 24 hours and 20 minutes old! Sunset was at 5:31pm and I spottted it at 5:55pm. I had only about 3 minutes to shoot it before it disspeared behind a cloud layer. I could not believe how thin it was. A lot thinner than I thought, and very hard to pick out.
Here’s the, now a new record to break!
