Known as St. Matin/St. Maarten, and located midway down in the chain of islands called the Antilles, St. Martin is my favorite place to go in the carribean. It’s sunny year long warm temperatures, are tempered by cooling trade winds making it one of the best vacation spots in the world. St. Martin is the smallest island in the world that is owned by two countries. The French and the Dutch. This friendship between the two countries have been going on for the past 350 years. It is not only the 27 different beaches to visit, the gourmet food (which you can find almost anywhere), or any one of a hundred more reasons to go there. It’s the friendliest people your find anywhere. If you like the ocean, great food, great scenery, and wonderful people, head south to St. Martin, or is it St. Maarten?  What ever it is, it is unforgettable.
