Well, I finally had some time to look at the video that I had shot last week of the International Space Station. It was taken with my Vixen ED100 (900mm) refractor. This was my first attempt at hand tracking and video recording the ISS through a Meade Electronic Eyepiece. The results are below.
A lot less than I expected that I would get. But, after doing a some research on the web and looking at many other images I will certainly give this another try with another camera and a much faster shutter speed than the 29 frames per second that I getting from shooting the video. Never the less, it was fun, I learned something, and I did get some sort of an image. My hats off to those intrepid ISS chasers getting those incredible images. It’s “a lot” harder than you think!
