I had a short window of time last night to get out there and try to get a shot of Comet C/2009P1 Garradd.

I set up in my dark sky location which has a great view to the west and south, so I had no problem in finding it in Hercules at a magnitude of about 7.2.

It’s the green fuzzy in the picture.

Not really much to look at, but still another comet in my album!

It is a single exposure of 30 seconds at ISO 800, taken with a Nikon 180mm lens.
