Today was a day where I got a chance to chase a storm not once, but twice.
There was a line of thunderstorms going through our state early this morning, and since I was heading out to an assignment right in it’s path I decided to do a little early morning chasing.
As severe thunderstorm warnings popped up, I made my way to the Waterbury Mall parking lot and waited for the storm to catch up with me.
A nice shelf cloud passed over as the wind started to increase. Then the main event. In between shooting video for work, I managed to get a few frames for myself. Here’s what I got.
Later in the day another line of thunderstorms went through the state. This time I was closer to home and managed to get the storm front as it passed over Lake Pocotopaug in East Hampton, Connecticut.
