US Coast Guard Ship Eagle returns home
The US Coast Guard's sail training barque Eagle has returned home home to New London after a summer training cruise. The ship returned Friday morning to the State Pier in Fort Trumbull. Over the last four months the Eagle has visited 13 ports in the U.S. and Canada, training more than 550 cadets. The Eagle ranged from New Orleans to Halifax, Nova Scotia.
