February four planet conjunction
A wonderful clear and cool evening were the perfect recipe to get a shot at the four planet conjuction in the west-south-west. Finding a high location in East Hampton was the key in getting all the planets. Take a look! One day old cresent moon
Before tonight my record for viewing the cresent moon was 48+ hours old. Tonight I broke that record after encountering multiple cloud banks that left me to shoot through sucker holes. I managed to get this image of the cresent moon as it was 24 hours and 20 minutes old! Sunset was at 5:31pm and I spottted it at 5:55pm. Wonderful Winter Waterfall
With this unreal winter weather here for at least another week I decided to go out and see what the East Haddam, Connecticut's Devil's Hopyard waterfall looked like.
