I was on my way down to New Haven this morning when I encountered dense fog as I reached the city.
When I reached my assignment location shortly after 7am, I was surprised to see the sun peaking above the buildings of Yale University. A second closer look yeilded a great view of sunspot cluster 1339 with naked eye vision. I immediately went to my camera and grabbed a few frames before it got lost in the fog bank.
Here’s what it looked like.
