I was on a quest tonght to see if I could locate a 21 hour moon in the west just after sunset. Everything was ready, my camera with a 800mm lens, a set of bino’s, and a great view of the horizon from a hill top in Hebron, Ct. The only thing working against me was a cloud bank that moved in just before sunset. I moved to a different location to get a better view of the possible viewing of the moon. I waited well after sunset to get a shot of the moon, but only managed to get this sunset picture. Not bad for second best, but as in the picture I am glad the sun knows to set in the west. Clear skies! (maybe next time).
