Well, it depends on who you are and what you are. While driving into work today I noticed this months full moon next to the State Capitol building. A picture I have always wanted to take. I started wondering, is it the Harvest Moon, or the Hunter’s Moon, which I heard it was called on a local radio station. Here’s the answer.
In Colonial America it was called the Hunter’s Moon. The Native Americans called it the Harvest Moon. The Chinese call it the Kindly Moon, and in English Medieval times it was called the Blood Moon. Have a Lunariffic day!
