I know most of us are always chasing our rainbows throughout life. But, have you ever actually “chased rainbows”?
After seeing some intense thunderstorm cells popping up late this afternoon, I also noticed that the sun was setting and in the correct location for some potential rainbows!
Going down route 2 in Glastonbury to scout out some locations to spot some I hit the jack pot and it wasn’t at the end of the rainbow.
Here is some of the best images as I chased rainbows for about an hour and a half, from Glastonbury, to Marlborough, to Hebron, to Lebanon. A great afternoon drive in the fall!

Looking for your pot of gold? Go into the forest in Columbia and you might find it.
As the rainbow became visable from the town green in Lebanon, a surprising breakout of Mammatus clouds appeared making a nice contrast to the bright colors of the rainbow.
Ready to harvest your rainbow? The next time you see one, take a chance and actually chase it. You might find your “pot of gold.”
